How Casting is Decided

Many things are considered as we carefully determine casting. We will cast leads based on the audition, dancer age, height, experience level, general availability, how the cast fits together, and the interest level ranked on the interest form. Please note that rehearsals for the leads and the Narnia Ensemble will be combined.

How Rehearsals Are Run

Purpose: Rehearsals are run in order, so everyone sees how the story fits together.

Engagement: You will not be moving or dancing the entire time, but it is essential to stay focused, attentive, and engaged.

Story Awareness: Listen carefully so you understand the flow of the story and how your character fits into the big picture.

Preparation: Be ready to step in when your part comes up - knowing your cues is just as important as performing them.

Teamwork: There is a lot to coordinate, and success depends on everyone working together with professionalism and commitment.
