DCA REPERTORY COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Dance is a performing art and our company was designed for those dancers who absolutely love dance, want more performing opportunities beyond the annual performance and may be interested in pursuing a dance career. The company performs at Riley Hospital for Children, assisted living facilities, churches, the annual Spring performance at Noblesville H.S. and other community events. The ballet ensemble consisting of upper level ballet students will perform throughout the year. Annual auditions for the DCA Repertory Company are each Spring and dancers will sign a one year contract.
Dance Creations Academy's pre-professional program and performing company are designed to develop, inspire, and sustain a love of dance in every student. Our primary goal is to produce classically trained, versatile dancers. Our program offers technique rooted in the traditions of classical ballet, contemporary and jazz with progressive age-appropriate curriculum. Our dancers have the opportunity to develop a strong technique, discipline, creativity, artistry, musicality, and confidence.
The expertise and dedication of our faculty offers our dancers a challenging and comprehensive program that will prepare them to achieve their goals. Our DCA dancers have gone on to pursue degrees in dance performance and/or pedagogy, dance with professional companies or musical theater or become dance instructors and choreographers.
Our exceptional faculty gives each dancer personal attention in a nurturing, supportive environment. The DCA dancers are given performance opportunities locally and are exposed to professional dance performances in Indianapolis and surrounding areas.

CHOREOGRAPHY WEEK - Mandatory (Aug 23-30) - please read!
Due to many families out of town in the summer, we have set one concentrated week to set choreography in August when everyone is back in town for school. This will be much more efficient for all involved. The rehearsal schedule is available now so that the dates can be reserved on your calendar. It is vital to have every cast member in attendance during your scheduled rehearsal time. Attendance is mandatory during choreography week. If you cannot attend all rehearsals this week, you cannot be in the dance and you should not audition. See the specific schedule by cast by clicking here
